Teaching is one of my favourite things to do on earth. I am a teacher, my sister is a teacher. My mum is a teacher and so are my aunts and cousins. Could it be in our blood? Who knows.
Although I have a great track record for helping students get radically higher grades than what they were previously getting, teaching is more than preparing someone for an exam. It is about enhancing creativity, inspiration and awe for this magnificant world around us.
I use to hate Chemistry till one day a random guy asked me what I studied. I reluctantly told him Chemistry sensing he will at any point remark at how boring this subject is.
Instead he said “ I love Chemistry! Isn’t it so interesting that two components of fire, when put together, create water”
“Huh? What do you mean?” I replied pretty confused.
“Think about it, Oxygen a requirement for fire to exist, and hydrogen a fuel of fire, put together creates H20…water. Two fires, make water”.
Something happened and I started to see Chemistry from a new light. I started to fall in love with Chemistry from that day and my grades went from a U (Ungraded i.e. below an E grade) to an A* (112 out of 120).
I ensured everything I learnt was from this frame work and now I ensure everything I teach is from this framework.
The subjects I specialise in:
Psychology (up to PhD level)
Sociology (up to PhD level)
Chemistry (up to A-levels)
Biology (up to A-levels)
